The Vineyard

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing”

The Vineyard is an English service that takes place weekly, following our Saturday English Liturgy. It provides a warm and welcoming environment for congregants to come together, share in the Word of God, and enjoy fellowship with others. This service offers a unique and practical approach to growing our faith in a meaningful way, creating a space where we can all be renewed and transformed.

Our mission is to raise a generation that is excited to come to church, experiencing constant spiritual renewal with the goal of becoming more like Christ.

Our vision is to foster an English-focused, Christ-centered community where we grow together as one family. We aim to create a feeling of belonging and home, grounded in shared values that help us navigate our faith journey together.

Why "The Vineyard"? In the Bible, Jesus Christ is referred to as the True Vine, and the church is His Vineyard. We are each a branch within this Vineyard, tended by Christ Himself, as He helps us grow and flourish in our faith.

A fellowship gathering with food and refreshments.
A spiritual discussion for adult attendees.
A spiritual lesson and activities for children (toddlers and elementary).

Pillars of this Service

Social: A strong sense of community for our primarily English congregants to gather in fellowship, sharing of meals, and uniting together within Christ.

The Vinyard Patron Saints

St. John Chrysostom

St. John is described to have had a “golden mouth” for the reason that from a young age. He had a gift of being able to inspire many and was well versed in the understanding of Holy scripture and the sacred traditions of the Early church. From a young age, he was deeply concerned with the plight of the poor and gave his belongings to them after his father’s death. He wrote many beautiful homilies, sermons, interpretations, and he himself is an incredible source of guidance around Christian Theology, biblical commentaries, and marriage and family life.

St. Monica

St. Monica so beautifully exemplifies a life of patience, strife, and perseverance provided through God’s grace. She had a firm belief in God’s ability to transform the heart of her beloved son, St. Augustine who had distanced himself from Christ and was wasting his life at a younger age. Her unceasing prayers, trust in God, and tears were comforted by God when she heard the prophecy, “the child of those tears will never perish”.
