We are a group of university students at St. Mary & St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church.

Our mission is inspired by what our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us in the Holy Bible:

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8)

Based on this verse, our mission is twofold:

Receiving the Power of the Holy Spirit: We engage in spiritual activities such as Bible study, book club, spiritual teachings, and devotional trips to Coptic monasteries to kindle the "Power" of the Holy Spirit inside us.
Witnessing to Jesus: Guided by the power of the Holy Spirit, we witness to Jesus through serving people in our small community in Edmonton, the broader community in Canada, and to the "end of the earth" through mission trips to unprivileged countries in South America and Africa to serve the needy, the abandoned, and the sick.

Our mission trips focus on:

Providing Medical Assistance: Our team of physicians and pharmacists will form a mobile medical service collaborating with local clinics and healthcare professionals to deliver medical supplies and free check-ups.
Educational Support: Assisting schools and students with educational resources to foster a brighter future.
Nutritional Support: Providing healthy and filling meals for children and families in residential communities in poverty.
Spiritual Growth: Sharing the love and message of Christ with the communities we serve, offering encouragement and emotional support.
