What will be Learned and Discussed?
The pre-marriage course is a “Christian, Bible-based” preparatory course for the lifetime commitment between a Husband and a Wife. The following topics are covered:

The Christian Sacrament of Marriage -
Understanding own personal Strengths and Weaknesses and their impact on the marital relationship -
Our childhood and its impact on our adulthood’s thoughts, feelings, and behavior

Accepting, Celebrating changes, and Managing expectations

Understanding gender differences; their positive and negative impact on the marital relationship
-
Navigating financial matters and personality dynamics
-
Communication in marriage
-
How to deal with marital conflicts
-
Love & intimacy
-
What will the couple encounter, expect, and be unaware of that can help or hinder the marital relationship
-
Prevention is better than cure

Who Should Attend?

Engaged Couples
-
Newly married couples (2-3 years) who have not previously attended the course
Course Schedule
The course is offered bi-annually for a weekend each March and August. In 2025, the course will be offered August 8-10.

The times are as follows:

Friday: 7-9 PM

Saturday: 9 AM - 4:30 PM

Sunday: 9 AM - 4:30 PM

About the presenters

Dr. Sami Fahmy: Certified marriage coach and communication specialist.

Mary Fahmy: Registered and Certified marriage and individual counselor and psychotherapist. Areas of focus: marital relationship issues, anxiety, and depression, self-esteem, positive parenting, stress, and anger management.

Cost
$110 per person; course materials will be sent via email.
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued and signed by the church priest and presenters.​​
