The mission of LEAF is to honour God in all that we do. Through biblical principles, we seek to help children develop habits for success and pursue personal excellence. LEAF provides creative programming that integrates prayer, hands-on learning, physical activity, outings, and community service. We envision parents and staff working together to provide a caring community and healthy children who will revere Christ.

CIT Program

Are you in Grade 8 or 9 and interested in building leadership skills while working with children? The Counsellor-in-Training (CIT) Program at LEAF Summer Camp is a 2-week hands-on experience where youth learn, support camp activities, and grow in confidence within a fun and structured environment.
What to Expect
Assist counsellors and support campers
Help lead games and activities
Develop leadership and teamwork skills
Receive mentorship and feedback
Application Process
Complete the application form below
Applicants will be invited to attend a brief interview as part of the program’s learning process
This interview is intended to support the development of communication, confidence, and readiness for working with children
Participation in the program will be offered to youth who demonstrate commitment, responsibility, and a willingness to learn
Important Notes
The program is 2 weeks
Youth who successfully complete the program may be invited to extend their participation, with additional program fees applied for any extended weeks, based on performance and interest
